This webinar will discuss the fundamental principles of how financial predators deliberately target, groom, and take control of vulnerable elders and steal their life savings.

This course will look at convicted predators and analyze various "attack vectors" such as "tech support" schemes and Ponzi investment schemes. This educational approach helps audiences better understand the predator mindset and also helps audiences detect predators before they gain control of vulnerable elders. Content provided in this webinar comes from the Center For Combating Elder Financial Abuse which provides education on the crime of elder financial abuse from a predator's perspective.

John has over three decades of service to his country. After graduating from West Point in 1986, John served in the United States Army as a commissioned officer until 1995. During his time in the Army, John graduated from the Ranger, Airborne, and Air Assault courses. John then joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation and served as a Special Agent from 1996 to 2021. John and his wife have three children.
